How Two Peanuts in a Wagon Inspire a Community #FundraisingFriday

#FundraisingFriday is about featuring a fundraising campaign that is hosted here on Move Your Mountain.  We will be highlighting their fundraising efforts and if you feel so inclined, please do share their campaign with your friends.  (Because, we think they’re already pretty awesome, that’s why we’re sharing it with you!).

When looking through the crowdfunding campaigns this week, these two little cuties caught my eye. Let me introduce you to Reagan and Lillian.  A medical fundraising campaign was started because these sweet girls like to frequent doctor’s offices and hospitals.

Reagan was diagnosed with aHUS (atypical Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome) in December of 2013. She has many medical bills that insurance isn’t covering including her $40,000 soliris infusion that she receives every other week. She also has CMTC (Cutis Mamorata Telangiectitca Congenita). This is causing her muscle in her left leg to shrink as well as some very serious issues that can come of it.

Her twin sister Lillian has medical needs as well including severe asthma and the need to have her upper right lung removed.

As the girls have already endured so much…they still have a large mountain to climb.  Backing their fundraising campaign will give this family the cushion it needs to focus on tummy tickles and cheek squeezing instead of insurances and medical bills.
